At certain points during the year we have the facilities to ourselves allowing daytime access to the Print Studio. We take advantage of this by inviting guest artists/printmakers to come along and host a two day workshop, these are very popular and sell out quickly.
The 2021 Summer Workshops
Welcome to our summer season of workshops. The RPC will be running six weeks of outstanding workshops on Thursday and Fridays

This will be a workshop which could be continued during the summer season, revisiting and developing the series of prints over several sessions in your own time.

Multi-Colour Reduction Lino Printing with Stuart Brocklehurst
Over the course of the workshop students will produce a multi colour reduction linocut in the same manner that I make mine. We will work from the students’ own studies to make a design that can be transferred to the lino and then printed using a simple registration system and hand burnishing techniques. The aim is to demonstrate how a complex looking print can be made at home without the need for an elaborate studio setup.
